- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I have had a good experience with security pawn now for 7-8 years. I pawned a couple of items and didn't pay or call them for six months. When I went back there, they still had my items for me and still kept the loan open for another 6 months. Not saying that is what they do for everyone that goes there to borrow money. Another time I went there to buy a couple of items she gave me a good price on them. The items I bought were brand new and they would have costed me $500 at a department store and only paid half that. So yes to the reviews that say negative things is their experience...probably because they were expecting something for nothing... so to speak. Its a pawn shop...you go there for something your needing wether it's to sell or borrow. What do you expect from them to do , rolled out red carpet? A piece of cake? No!! Your there asking for them to do something for you!!! So be nice....and you might get what you want! She seems like she might be mean although she's not from my experience.
